When Clay's mom heard that a model train gallery was coming to town, she thought that he would be excited to see it, knowing about her son's love of trains, and so he was! So she took him there the next day, and Clay enjoyed himself so much, seeing all the amazing models and layouts on display! He would watch for hours at each exhibit as the trains rolled along their tracks. And with so many different kinds too! Diesel trains, Steam engines, And even a few that he's never seen before!
In the later afternoon, Clay's mom bought him a new toy train set from the gift shop before they headed home, and as excited as he would've been to go home and assemble it, Clay was tuckered out from a long day out and fell asleep till dinner time...
