| What a rollercoaster. MC solving everyone's problem but had trouble with his own problems. Understands how it feels. Felt like this wasn't the last episode but it is. great anime. might buy the dvd just to own. |
| And so ends this anime....for now. Perhaps we'll see a second season after the movies released so far. Anyway, panda Kaede will be missed but I'm glad Kaeda has dealt with her issues. Whilst Sakuta has been a helping hand to all the girls, I don't think he has fully dealt with his issues, for the scars in his chest haven't disappeared yet. Shouko is a waifu material that can compete with Mai, but we're not sure at this point if she's even real. And if she's not real, perhaps the kiddo Shouko is real. Who knows? I'll have to see the movie then. ____ ETA: I enjoyed the pictured dramas too. My favourites are Futaba's and Kade's. Further thoughts: The animeman dubbed this as 'normie Monogati.' I can see the similarities but it can stand as its own. It doesn't have the high normie filter of Monogatari. For example, Sakuta and a girl may have lengthy conversations but they're not as long. They also talk with other people so that it doesn't seem as weird. Unimportant people from the perspective of Sakuta still appear, so we are seeing the anime as it is and not from the point if view of Sakuta. That said, there are still some aspects here that's weird or even some degree of normie filters such as the bunny girl costume, some horniness, and siscon stuff. I would recommend this as a first anime, but it's okaw after a few. |

| Coming from the description of this being "Monogatari but less horny and more toned down with the weirdness" I had my qualms about the title which serves as a bait for the first episode mostly. In the end I ended up being quite invested in the characters and the struggles they went through. Having the Puberty Syndrome being the catalyst for the relationships that form around Sakuta made the way they get together feel less forced and portrayed just how reliable he became after his incident. There are a lot of teen related issues tackled mostly coming from anxiety, family, self harm and most of all, love. That love is the one that also ends up fittingly being the solution for each of them and by the end of each arc you could really feel it. Speaking of arcs, I really felt for the first, second and fifth more so considering the stakes and how close the characters were in these. The third and fourth were also good in their own way but they probably didn't go deep enough into the struggles or the relationships, or maybe I didn't connect as much with Futaba and the blonde girl (whose name I forgot and feel bad about it now). In any case, presentation was good, the opening grew on me but more so did the ending song and how it varied from arc to arc both in vocals and animation (like in other anime series similar to this one). I'd like to know now with this bar how much does the movie raise it if at all. |

| Sakuta in the bath while Shoko is outside using Talk-no-Jutsu. I was wondering why the hell this guy decides to talk outside the door while someone is taking a bath; I see where he got that from now. It is so rare to find a romance show with actual romantic moments like in this one(though I still await that kiss) instead of just drama for the sake of drama. While I found some of the arcs a bit on the tedious side, Mai and Kaide's arcs are, IMO, enough to carry this anime. Heck, they probably could have made a movie from Kaide's arc alone. Either way, looking forward to see what's up with Shoko. My guess is she probably gets summoned whenever Sakuta is in high levels of distress. And also, Kamisato, would be strange if she's rude just for "popularity". Also, wtf is up with that title and cover, complete clickbait(a rare good one though) I tell you. |

| Seeing Sakuta break down like that was tough to watch. Shouko once again appeared as the unsung hero and helped our MC through his hardships. It's so interesting how she left without any fanfare, is she directly connected to Sakuta's puberty syndrome??? Well that's a question that'll have to be answered another time. Sakuta is at the peak of his game when someone he cares about is in need. It is his creed after all. So when Mai went back to her shoot, of course Sakuta would be there to comfort her. The fakeout kiss was a total troll move! I hope we get it next time around. This show was excellent. I really enjoyed watching Sakuta uncover the mystery behind these supernatural occurrences and help mend the emotional instability within his peers. It always helps when you have someone to lean on, and I think this show embodies that message better than any other. The characters were complex but still fun to follow, and the drama was gripping. 10/10. It's a gem! |

| One of the best romantic drama anime series I've seen, literally the best of the best. Seeing sakuta depressed and crying in the bathtub was sad, glad makinohara shoko appeared again when sakuta hit the wall but it's mystery that she only appeared when sakuta is in some kind of extreme hardship, they might explain about her situation in the next movie which is a direct sequel of this first season which I'm really excited for. Its understandable why mai san was sad considering when sakuta need emotional support his only girlfriend wasn't there to give it to him, that fadeout kiss scene in the end was quite frustrating, like girl just get married already!!! I love this anime so much, especially the heroine in each arc and how they overcome their hardship thanks to sakuta. The drama and the romance is the best part of this series but personally it's the main character sakuta who push forward all of this, he certainly got a rascal personality but that's the best part of him. Unlike hachiman from oregairu this mc is more loud and rowdy, if mai-san is the best girl than sakuta is the best boy. Nonetheless this was an excellent show with complex characters with great drama and good romance. A perfect series which I've enjoyed it very much. 10/10 |
| Aw Kaede got her memories back, it feels like she 'died' in Sakuta's mind and I kinda felt a bit of the same way. Sad to see her self go back to who she was, but I mean it's the last episode so I guess it was the best ending for her. At the last part of the episode i though Mai and Sakuta were gonna kiss but it just ended in the usual teasing Mai gives him. Guess they will never kiss at all 😭 All of the weird things happening throughout the series, like Mai being invisible to everyone, Sakuta looping the same day, and other things still don't have much of a sole explanation of why it's happening. I mean sure, Futaba tells us the basics of how it occurs, but not why it's happening to Sakuta and the people around HIM. I dunno but maybe there's something different with him than everyone else. Also, Shoko , the girl who like appears a few times in Sakuta's life, could know something about it. Maybe it can be explained in the movies after this. Well, overall, I feel kinda sad but happy the season ended like this but it's best to move on. (To the movie!!!) |

| eh. overrated in my opinion but its nice to see things actually picked up in the final episode. it felt less 2d and the characters felt more relatable here. overall a 4/10 |
| well that was really good i remember watching this when it was airing back in 2018 and thought it was over hyped but I rewated it now seeing as a new season has been announced and I'm glad I did its an amazing show |
