Hey don't mean to hassle you but did you ever get a chance to work on this model? I can't PM you, so plz reach out to me before this thread is closed.
I really doubt facegen does anything. Find a profile photo of someone with some weird nose and run it through facegen. Tell me if facegen could model the nose exactly or just put some default facegen nose there...

I looked alot and found another user there who has asked about it and got the reply that the post owner did not want to share because it was someone elses work or because he got some pushback last time he shared something if i understand correctly. (idk korean so i used google translate) Maybe i am wrong.
So it must be from somewhere, but where?
I can not find it...
Any help or info on where this can be found would be greatly appreciated (y)

@ Pesadilla I'm really hoping you chime into this. I am not a newbie to community driven projects. Way back I was highly active on EmuMovies forums under this name for Commodore Amiga previews for Hyperspin, and the first year and a half under Bob Oblong on cs rin ru for VR steam refunds and easter egg filling what Chinese VR forums had for sh$tware steam was releasing. This is why I am strong supportor of community driven forum for VAM. I have no clue what cs rin ru is these days for VR because I lost interest but back then people knew each other after Blackcats torrent went down who I also struggled to post each and every single sh$tware released or even argue with IGG admins that VR deserved its own section.

Its called forum junkies. We deserve our place. Dont allow our destiny to end up with Frog Picture communication in asset imagewall becase GenZ moderators find it more convenient.

We are forum junkies i like that, i really wish it can be some kind of agreement that allows this forum to be saved i am not here just for the sharing i love the drama and the offtopic posts, i love that we help each other and i come to care about a lot of you guys, like many had said thats the reason we invest money and then come to share. Creators must be happy because closing this thread will be good for them.

Mod has said we can use the main thread in september but i would love to hear the if its going to be the same or some crazy policing will be in effect...

Hi!

When i did the test it created a folder with extracted textures and files and leave the VARs so in effect it increased the size, am i wrong? I tested it with a very small amount of VARs because i read it takes some time. I used the version linked in my reply which i downloaded from anon
Heh, it did that, but that's not how one is supposed to use it! Vamifier is designed to create a clean VAM installation with all possible resources, not to clean your current installation. So it is more for content creators, than for people who try 10 new VARs a day. I think that was described in the docs posted here. But in short: you take a huge repo of VARs and loose resources (in my case just a plain directory that is not a part of VAM installation), which Vamifier scans and then it copies one instance of each (hair, clothing, morph) to some destination directory, a new, clean VAM installation is probably best. If you really want, you can later repoint VAR refs in this new installation to components extracted into VAM directory, but the overall idea of Vamifier now is "VARs are evil", I just delete them after "installing" them with vamifier. That solves i.e. the problem with renamed HS Eye reflections mentioned earlier. Vamifier will find both names in its db and repoint the VAR to the one single instance that it extracted (although in case of HS Eyes I do keep them in VAR, as all other utility VARs).

Looking for those sweet HFS Fantasy morphs. Anyone got a link? The posted magnet link does not work.


Didn't have it in VAR, but here are the morphs I use. I have included some eyeball morphs in there because the HFS morphs are janky as hell and will break the eye positioning. Another thing to watch out for, if your trying to do anything complex with them, is the hand morphs can break the positions of the hand colliders, but that is pretty easy to fix with ColliderEditor.

Regarding the new thread. It would be easy to just create a new one, call it 'Virt-A-Mate: Assets and general discussion'.

Everyone could create it (I don't have many posts and come here for the drama and look at the pictures, so don't count on me to do that). But basically everyone else could. Or are discussions in general against any of the forum rules?

If they are, then we are simply in the wrong forum for what we want -- and as we and every mod have realized that it is what the vast majority of the users want. To keep the nature of the thread as it is. If this is not what is allowed in this forum, just move on to another one.
If it is NOT against the rules, then JUST CREATE A NEW thread.

IMO it is a rather binary decision:

1) Discussions are allowed here -> Create a new thread in this forum and we all move there.
2) Discussions are against the rules -> We are in the wrong forum. Their forum, their rules. Just move to another one.

PS: if there is a flaw in my logic or assertions, please feel free correct me. If not, decide if it is 1 or 2.

anyone know why when i try to load this blood elf on any other model or load the model in general the hair is gone for some reason? like the hair is part of the skin or something, nd u cant find the hairstyle at all in the hair tab either?? same thing happens with the human asumi port im pretty sure

Pretty sure noone on f95 have high enough rank on that server to sent invitations. Users can only 'sugest\ask' to invite other people, so random message on this forum without even a discord nickname\ID won't get anyone in there.
Also it's pretty easy to get invite tbh, create and upload some stuff, help some newbie people on official discord and u will get there soon.

There is no direct way as far i know. U need to save daz\duf map to fbx\obj, import it in unity, re-do materials, maybe bake lights and then U can pack it to assetbundle for Vam.

It says in the description that the hair is a CUA, so if your loading the character as a general look/trying to import it into another scene, you will need to also manually add the CUA from the VAR, position, scale and link it to the Atom's head.

Simpliest solution is to install and add to session plugins CUA Manager, then just save preset of these hairs from original scene and U will be able to load it on any other model with correct scale\position
